Population status

American Robin
(Turdus migratorius)

The Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) is the most reliable source of data for the American Robin and indicates little change in the population relative to about 1970. The reliability of the BBS is considered medium due to poor coverage in the more northern portion of the breeding range. BBS data from across North America also indicate that the continental population has shown little change since about the mid-1960s.
